How often do you ask your customer base what they think of you, or do you just assume that they are satisfied with your services? Their feelings are invisible to you because you have no idea how they view you.

This is a perfect way to measure the effectiveness of your customer service or product. There is no face to face contact, and little emotional pressure, and therefore clients are generally more honest and open with their comments than if you confronted them in person with the same questions.
