Tactile Marketing
Yes, we did say “Tactile”!
Tactile Marketing is a new innovation, but in essence, it is really simple and not much different to brand marketing or brand identity; perhaps an extension of both.
Tactile Marketing is when you make something more tangible, like a fragrance for instance. Here is an example:
“A woman has a boutique perfume company in the West End of London. Her signature is a special perfume concocted only for her. It is unique and has a distinctive smell, and all her personal stationery is embalmed with the same perfume”.
So, when you receive a letter from this person her personal branding not only reminds you of who she is, but the perfume adds another dimension to the scenario. Because of this, you will remember her more. Therefore, this is an excellent type of marketing, and not just restricted to fragrances!
We hope you found this information useful. We would like to remind you that this subject is best served, and more effective as part of a complete marketing plan or strategy, rather than in isolation.
